I was thinking of just writing this out and i think it will work out for what I was hoping for

Nighthawk is a part of both air forces since the squadron wasnt made from the split and was originated as a CEAF squadron. They wore the moon emblem but still affiliated with the CEAF.

Much like last time, This contains spoilers. Do be warned.














The meat of the movie was lightning starting his next season training. After he finishes with his almost depression now. He calls his sponsor owners and hears they built a new racing center. Then they get to the place which has a really nice oval parking lot. Then we learn that rusteeze was sold off to a rich car named sterling. Now i like how in this part alone, lightning is drawing parallels between himself and doc. Then we get the whole sterling schpeal which gave me that vibe like he's gonna just pull the same Schtic as the other race teams. He almost does too since the old car training that Cruz put him through made him impatient and he hopped onto the simulator which is what he wanted to try out the whole time. Shit hits the fan. Somehow he convinced sterling to let him race the florida 500 and began training with Ramirez on the florida beaches which was where fireball beach used to be. This is where cruz shows her comedic prowess as well as getting eaten by the beach. Mcqueen is rightfully frustrated at the lack of progress and sees a sign to Thunder Hollow.

Thunder Hollow is not what I thought it would be when they showed up. They disguised Lightning with mud and cleaned out a red 15 on his side. Then he and Cruz get thrown into a figure 8 demo derby. Honestly this to me i thought was going to be a legit dirt race against dirt stock cars or late models. Nope, it was a comedic figure 8 derby where McQueen and Ramirez barely escaped unscathed after having to avoid fritter time. Cruz wins the derby miraculously after lightning lost a left rear to Ms. Fritter's stop sign saw. Lightning afterwards gets pissed at cruz, yells at her for the lack of progress in which we learn ramirez always wanted to race, she just thought she wouldnt be able to stack up against the other cars with her smaller frame and muffled engine. This part I honestly didnt see coming. She put her life into racing, but quit before she could start.

After literally driving Cruz off, he calls mater for advice. He gets the idea to go to doc's trainer and decides he needs cruz as well. He finds her and she reluctantly agrees to continue with the crew. They find Thomasville speedway, meet smokey, and get invited into his bar where they meet three racing legends. Junior "Midnight" Moon ( Junior Johnson) River Scott (Wendell Scott) and Louise Nash (Louise Smith). They find out from McQueen that he needs their help and in starts one of my more favorite parts of the movie. Cruz gets modified with Racing Tires, a rear aero wing, and a new side pipe exhaust. This starts what I call the banner change moment. Cruz plays the part of Jackson storm and McQueen has 3 laps to gain a certain ammount of ground and pass "Storm" to win the challenge. That coupled with other training drills. I love this part because the point where his new decaling rips off, revealing Ramone's paint work, is a point where McQueen sees a light he hasnt seen in a while. This part had its own comedy and it was a great way to show how cars probably used to train themselves to race.

This part to me was not only comedic but it doesnt take up more time than it should. The training montage wasnt too long and it showed at least some form of progression. Now we get on to the final part of the movie in part three.

so my friend who had fallen out of MLP a few months ago, maybe a year idfk, finally was able to figure out the deal between us as well as myself figuring the deal out in my own right. She was selling her OC's Spirit Night and Midnight Heart since she really had no need for them anymore. She wasn't planning on drawing them any time soon and I thought, since we are friends, She could at least know that someone she trusts has these characters. Also I'd rather post this in a journal because there's a lot of art she has done of the characters and instead of just posting them to my page, this seems more appropriate.

there were two images I left out of this because they didn't show the character physically or they had a minor appearance in the whole image and the other was just a base for Spirit's Cutie Mark.

I hope you appreciate that we have been able to finally get this deal worked out and i hope you at least know that I respect the work you put into these two characters. I hope I can serve them well

So last saturday I saw Cars 3. I honestly believe that it is the best of any Cars film media. I loved the movie and going into it I had a sort of idea with what was going to go down. The way it went down however was much different. The main takeaway, at least for me, was the sheer volume of racing that went on in a movie about living racecars. I cant even count off hand how many different venues and races there were in the film itself. This movie also gave us a lot of backstory and into the roots of one of the main characters as well as provided some accurate history into NASCAR and stock car racing as a whole.


At this point I would like to give a spoiler alert as I will start delving deeper into the film's events. Dont complain that I spoiled it when I told you what was happening.














The movie starts out much like the first and I presume 2nd movies did with McQueen's inner monologue. This was a bit of a chuckle as it opened up to mater who snuck into his trailer. After that is the introduction back to Piston Cup racing as well as McQueen's on track buddies, Cal Weathers and Bobby Swift. Between the three it was like Kevin Harvick pranks all around whenever someone would win a race. Pies, severely over inflated tires, just pranks between buddies on track. In comes Jackson Storm. Presumably hanging back the whole race and his entry kept a secret, he flies to the front of a Phoenix like track and takes the win to the surprise of the 3 on track buddies.

To be honest, the introduction of Jackson Storm showed almost how blind the other racers were. They thought they could keep going on the same old way. Storm goes on a winning streak which prompts teams to start replacing racers mid season either in favor of these new rookies or to retirement like Cal. My biggest issue with this is the fact that almost immediately it was close to pure next gen rookies. Its also plain to see that this happened prior on a much smaller scale with the cars of Chick Hicks' era being phased out for cars like McQueen, Cal Weathers, and Bobby Swift.

Needless to say, McQueen was outclassed by only 4 or 5 rookies who had replaced swift and others. Another little thing I want to know about is why Swift just Dissapeared. No message to McQueen on his trailer phone or anything. We get to LA, McQueen tries to match Storm, and his tires break loose in turn two causing him to over correct and slam the wall sending him into the crash we all saw in the trailers.

Part two  will continue off from this and will talk about what most of the movie revolves around.
