So Looking through Jayski's NASCAR Silly Season Site  I found exactly what I wanted to see. The last time a Driver got his/her first win in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series was in 2014 and the race that was won was Watkins Glen and the driver who won was A.J. Allmendinger driving the 43 car for Petty Racing Inc. This was 4 races after Aric Almirola won the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona. Both of these races are known for the smaller teams winning these races or drivers who'm aren't seen as often winning. The last time a Driver won a race that wasn't known as a Crap Shoot where anyone can win was all the way back in 2012 when Paul Menard drove his #27 Menards Chevrolet to Victory Lane at Indianapolis. The reason I bring this up is the fact that lately the only drivers that have been winning in the sprint cup are those that are up at the front every single race. As a matter of fact, there's only two drivers who haven't won 2 races yet out of the current winners and it's Denny Hamlin who won his first 500 this year, and Kevin Harvick who almost won 2 but was denied by Jimmie Johnson who won instead. even most of the winless drivers have gotten their best finishes at Superspeedways.

The point I'm getting at here is this. NASCAR doesn't have any good rookie showings or any good showing's of drivers who haven't won a race yet with some exceptions with a few drivers. I would like to see teams like Front Row Motorsports, Chip Ganassi, or RCR to actually get a win at a track that doesn't require a draft to keep pace or a track that a lot of drivers don't know as well as the drivers who specialize at those tracks. There's a lot of drivers out there that deserve wins but they can't get them because the same drivers who win just keep on winning. It just makes things boring.

To think that Blaney was just four spots out yesterday...
